This spring and summer's caramel sauce is sunny and beautifully golden yellow with the exotic flavour of passion fruit. The fruity and tart passion fruit is wonderful with the creamy caramel notes.
Tart flavours are, as is well known, also excellent to combine with liquorice.
Make a fruit salad with fresh passion fruit and serve with ice cream, whipped cream, or Greek yoghurt flavoured with vanilla. Top with raw liquorice granules. Another delicious dessert is vanilla ice cream with both salmiak caramel and passion fruit caramel sauce!
Also, drizzle the sauce over pancakes and waffles, garnish desserts, or use it as a filling in delicious baked goods.
Our best tip is to use the sauce in a pavlova - both as a filling and for garnishing. The filling is 50/50 whipped cream and crème fraîche, flavoured with the caramel sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the cake and garnish with fresh passion fruit or strawberries. Another favourite is the tiramisu cake.
The caramel sauce is also available as a duo together with the Salmiak Caramel Sauce.
A regular jar contains 170 grams. A medium jar contains 135 grams.

Unopened jars should be stored at room temperature.
Stir the sauce if it has separated. Opened jars should be stored in the refrigerator and are best before 1 month.
